Congratulations to Scott Baker for a masterpiece of a performance tonight. And curses upon overpaid old fart Mike Sweeney, who had to spoil the party in the 9th inning.
Regardless, it was a very fun game to watch, and a reminder of how entertaining baseball can still be even when your team is out of the race.
I haven't been that nervous in the late innings of a Twins game since 1991.

You know something big is happening when ESPN cuts into their coverage to show something else. I was taking a nap with football on, then later could hear baseball on and I had to stumble out of my room to investigate. I was pissed at Sweeney too.
